To email a plan to a client or colleague, select Email Plan from the File menu. This feature allows you to send a copy of your plan to someone else. Your saved plan will not be affected. When you email a plan to someone they receive an email containing a link that allows them to open a copy of your plan. This way, they can send the plan back to you with their edits. This is a great way to collaborate with someone on design ideas.
By default, recipients can view but not modify the plans you send them. If, however, you would like to give the recipient the ability to modify their copy of the plan, check the “allow recipient to edit a copy of this plan” option at the bottom of the Email This Plan window.
Note: Only registered Icovia customers who receive plans with this option checked can modify emailed plans, so even if you check this option the recipient will need to subscribe to Icovia to take advantage of this editing capability. If the recipient is not a registered Icovia subscriber, Icovia will appear as a view-only tool.
After filling out all of the required fields, click the “send” button. A message window confirms that the plan was successfully sent.
