A Link to web a page can be assigned to icon,
which is useful for specifying specific products, materials, examples
or other item-specific reference material in your plans.
To assign a web page link to an icon, select an icon in the work
area using the selection tool. A
tab called “Web Page” will appear next to the Icon Info (properties) panel.
Click into the “Web Page” panel and enter the web site link you wish to
assign to the icon.
Once you've entered the link text, click on the “Icon Info” tab. An orange link called “http://...” now appears in the Icon Info panel. Clicking on this link will open a new browser window to the web page you've specified. Because the Icon Info panel appears when you click on icons, this link will be immediately available to you and those with whom you share your plans.
Note: To save time, copy link text from other applications including web browsers and paste it into the Web Page field in Icovia.
