The icon description denotes the identity of the icon. When your cursor hovers over an icon, a tool tip displays the icon description. The same description is used in plan printouts when you include an icon summary. To change a icon description, select the icon. Then type in a new description in the description field.
Note: When using generic shapes from the structural icon group to generate facsimile icons, change the icon description to reflect what the shape is intended to represent. That way, it will be listed properly in the icon summary.
